Even though I know from experience to always start out with the questions, sometimes, even I dismiss the early stages of preparation and regret it later.
When initially approached, the team member asked with the existing tools the team is already subscribed to, how can we blur the faces of children who they did not get parent consent from.

Descript + Canva + Vyond
Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere
This tool has a learning curve but has more flexibility and control. Using Mosaic tool, you make specific shape. I used oval for the faces.
Now, here is where and why I had to move my workflow into Premiere, the ability to use keyframes in the timeline is essential for control. I can control when the blur occurs and move it with the child’s or adult’s movement. I was not able to have this control in Descript or in Canva.
